You, my old friend.

"How mutable the flower of the human heart, a fluttering blossom gone before the breeze’s touch – so we recall the bygone years when the heart of another was our close companion, each dear word that stirred us then still unforgotten; and yet, it is the way of things that the beloved should move into worlds beyond our own, a parting far sadder than from the dead."

Hola,
Old friend. Shared common stories and the same amount of trust. A wistful and hopeful feeling rather than direct caring. Old friend, life torn us apart but I carry you on me; on who I am. Thank you for the sudden smiles you bring me daily.
To you who have touched my life. You, my old friend.
Find here a list of things I found worth sharing from last week:
- Watch. This life series called Japan Day. Paolo followed varied people for a day to show how regular life is in Japan. By using different characters per episode, the author presents a rich picture.
- Know. Your seaweed game. I'm looking forward to adding these flavours to my cooking! 😍
- Wear. Your helmet. Don't forget to wear your helmet every time you cycle. It does make a difference in a critical situation. Enjoy your ride!
- Admire. This beautiful work by Elinor Carucci. Silver Linings makes me reflect on how much sexist behaviours in our culture need to stop. It is ridiculous to shame on human nature. Let's stop contributing into pressuring women to satisfy society's "aesthetics". It is non-sense and sexist.
- Aww♥️. and a bit disturbing. 😝
Thanks for reading and have a nice week!
