Hola,
I have noticed that the easiest introductions to write are the ones where I try to give advice. It sometimes makes me feel bad because I'm usually far away from following my advice myself. I realised how easy it is to preach when your audience can't hold you accountable for your life decisions and behaviours. I guess it happens to everyone. I think this exercise of sitting down and reflecting on my feelings and thoughts is just an instant picture of that moment but it doesn't define who I am. I am aware that there are several aspects that I need to work on, and I'm fortunate that I have the time and will to work on improving them. Especially, working even harder on accepting myself.
Find here a list of things I found worth sharing from last week:
- Follow. this Twitter thread on how to support Afghanistan and Afghan people.
- Read. How Canada is violating int’l law by selling arms to Saudis. Do you remember that Justin Trudeau who was seen very happy in Toronto's Pride parade 5 years ago? Well, civil rights organisations have never understood why did he make such good press with this while never moving a finger on banning the selling of arms to countries where being gay is punishable with death.
- Watch. This documentary on how policies on removing predators that attack the bird community in New Zealand are being implemented. Sadly, the introduction of foreign species can have devasting consequences, and killing them all is the only solution. Sad.
- Play. this beautiful web-based game uses poetry as its central topic. I find it very relaxing!
- Aww♥️. I give them all a perfect 10!😍
Thanks for reading and have a nice week!
