Hola,

It's the summer solstice for the northern hemisphere! Natural cycles are a reminder of inevitable change. There is dynamism in our lives even when we don't want to accept it. Like waves that come and go; cycles are infinite and predictable.

If you are affected by any solstice, either summer or winter, let's take some time to acknowledge this event and use it as an excuse to celebrate life!

Find here a list of things I found worth sharing from last week:

  1. Cook. One of these delicious summer recipes. I'm making that Gazpacho this week!
  2. Watch. Another documentary on Fast Fashion, and think about your shopping habits and how they may support slavery in poor countries.
  3. Read. This Twitter thread that uncovers corporations that year after year hijack "Pride Month" while at the same time they donate millions to anti-LGBTQ members of U.S. congress.
  4. Remember. That Guantámano bay, the U.S. military prison is still open and conditions are just getting worse. “How can it be that we are waiting for Biden to come, and it has become so much worse than when Trump was president?”. In 2008, former President Obama promised to close this infamous prison, but yeah... it was all a lie. I have shared several times links on how China is violating Human Rights to the extent that I felt biased, as these violations come from every country. Of course, not all of them are performed on a big scale but it is indeed done systematically. Human Rights Watch releases a yearly report on each country which is useful to understand the complexities and challenges that need to be overcome to provide a safe world for each of us.
  5. Aww♥️. Careful with the pigeons, they might bite your ass. 😝

Thanks for reading and have a nice week!
