Hola,

This week I want to write to all of you about reciprocity as an act of personal care. I would like you to reflect on your language and reactions and how they affect your feelings. Focus exclusively on reciprocity towards yourself as a way for enriching your life.

I'm convinced that seeing life as a long relationship with myself gives me an agency to be compassionate and understanding with my feelings. It gives me a method to practice love with my body away from harsh self-judgements and social pressure. I feel that the most important take from this method is that it gives me tools for self-support. Self reciprocity is a way to feed your life with experiences, love and understanding. It adds dynamism to my life and, especially, creates cycles in it.

Thank you for all the replies to the previous email. It was nurturing to hear your opinion about likeable people to develop a broader understanding.

Find here a list of things I found worth sharing from last week:

  1. Rest. Here is an article that defines 7 different types of rest.
  2. Think. what's up with affordable art? This is an interesting example: $100 at a Time.
  3. Watch. A documentary film about Hayao Miyazaki's creative process. (It was easier to stream it via the iOS app than from the website).
  4. Aww♥️. Beautiful thread about animals interrupting wild life photographers.

Thanks for reading and have a nice week!
