Let's take a deep breath.

"In fact, no proletariat exists under the neoliberal regime at all. There is no working class being exploited by those who own the means of production. When production is immaterial, everyone already owns the means of production him- or herself."

Hola,
Another week. Another day to smile. Tell your close ones how much they mean for you and make this day count. Don't let the routine define who we are or what we feel. Let's take a deep breath and do our best!
Find here a list of things I found worth sharing from last week:
- Get. Out of your geographical musical bubble and don't be shocked by the number of same-gender lyrics that have made it into the Billboard year-end 100 hot chart. I'm always down to recommend you all Salsa songs, like this one: El gran varón by Willie Colón.
- Read. This long article about spreadsheets. It is actually fun and very well written! "In the late 1300s, the need for a solid system for accounts was evident in the outbursts of one man in particular, an Italian textile merchant named Francesco di Marco Datini. Poor Datini was surrounded by fools.".
- Buy. A wearable air conditioner to wear while hanging with your friends at the park.😅
- Watch. Forgotten at Sea by Al Jazeera's East 101 team.
- Link.your hyperlinks forever. This author expected hyperlinks to live forever and never "rot", however it turns out that's not the case. "We found that 50 percent of the links embedded in Court opinions since 1996, when the first hyperlink was used, no longer worked. And 75 percent of the links in the Harvard Law Review no longer worked." This piece goes through several projects that aim to archive the web. As it is a web feature to modify or delete content and URLs; once this is seen from a perspective of censorship or even law, the need to keep a historical archive of what once was published turns out to be imperative. "Society can’t understand itself if it can’t be honest with itself, and it can’t be honest with itself if it can only live in the present moment.".
- Enjoy. These Japanese illustrations from firework catalogues from around the 1880s.
- Aww♥️. I want a massage too!
Thanks for reading and have a nice week!
