Is fighting for an equal society becoming part of the science fiction area of our lives?

"‘Capitalism and science fiction share one thing,’ he replied coolly. ‘They trade in future assets using fictitious currency."

Hola,

Last week I started reading Another Now by Yanis Varoufakis, and I'm enjoying every page of it. I wish he were a more influential figure in western politics. Is fighting for an equal society becoming part of the science fiction area of our lives? This pandemic has shown us how a capital-driven society has left friends and family in an economically vulnerable situation, while there is a total lack of solidarity from the rich for a life with dignity for all. I have always wondered how could we all accept this as the "normal".

Find here a list of things I found worth sharing from last week:

1. Practice. Here's a short and cute video about how to practice empathy.
2. Watch.HBO is releasing a docu series "which examines the decades-long story behind the sexual abuse allegations against Woody Allen involving his daughter Dylan". Read more.
3. Aww♥️. It's so cold these days that I just want arrunche for the whole week!

Thanks for reading and have a nice week!
